South African communities are not short of response organisations. On any given street there are several, often working the same suburbs. The gap is in the seconds between something happening and the nearest available unit knowing exactly where to go.
Location gets lost in words
Street names, landmarks and gate numbers are hard to relay accurately under stress — and harder still if you are not at home, or not from the area.
The closest free unit may not be yours
The company with a vehicle two streets away never hears about it, because the call went to the one you happen to pay. Proximity, not paperwork, decides who can help first.

You see every incident in your coverage area — not just your clients'.
And you see which other companies are already responding. RespondZA routes by area, never by who the resident pays, so overlapping coverage stops being a blind spot and starts being a network.
Receiving alerts is free
Any organisation with a registered coverage area receives alerts for that area — subscription or not. We will never withhold an emergency alert from a company that could respond.
You choose the areas you cover
One suburb or a whole province. Alerts route to the control room responsible for that area, not to head office — so your Toti operators see Toti calls and nothing else.

Emergency response is what we are building first, and it is the only thing we will claim until it is genuinely dependable in a real pilot area. But the same network — communities on one side, response organisations on the other, routed by geography — is how everything else safety-related in an area can move.

Questions
Is this a replacement for 10111 or ER24?
No. RespondZA is not an emergency service. Always call the SAPS on 10111 and emergency medical services as you normally would — RespondZA notifies participating private response organisations in addition, and never instead.
Do I need to be a client of a security company?
No. Every participating organisation covering your area is alerted, and whichever one has a unit free can respond. Being someone's client adds useful context and priority for them — it never decides who gets told.
Is it free for residents?
Yes. Reporting is free for residents, and it stays free. RespondZA earns its money from the professional control-room and workforce tools that response organisations choose to pay for.
When does it launch?
A pilot comes first, in Amanzimtoti and Kingsburgh, once we have a founding response partner. The waitlist gets first access, and we will not open other areas until the pilot works properly.
What data do you collect, and who can see my location?
Right now, only what you type into the form above — used solely to tell you about the launch. In the app, an alert carries your location to the control rooms of organisations covering that area. Your exact location is never published publicly, and community-facing views show approximate distance only. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I get my organisation onto the network?
Send us an enquiry through the partner form. Registering coverage areas and receiving alerts is free — the paid product is the control room, dispatch and workforce tooling on top of it.
Does RespondZA favour any company?
No. Nobody gets earlier notification, preferential placement, or sight of another organisation's private data. The network only works if it is neutral, so neutrality is a rule, not a policy we can trade away.
